Home Sweet Home... updates

Added some more work to my bed with the tent and to the wall above the table with some pictures related to movies/characters/ thoughts that are dear to me. Bought the cloth for Rs. 40 meter and the pictures are normal images off the net printed at work lol in b&w and then borders with black chart paper for Rs. 10 ( I still got some extra left!). Still planning on stuff to do... a bit more for the interiors and then aplenty for the exteriors...including a quaint little terrace garden!

My Home Sweet Home @ Bangalore :)

When I moved into this new place the first thing to get me excited was the possibilities with it, there was so much I could do, so many places where I could channel my creative energy, and thats what I did within two weeks of moving in, I'm still doing it up and will post more pics as it comes! Currently you see the dressing table, with the Rajasthani Dolls, I have a huge fascination for vibrant colours and wood and these dolls have both vitals! I also love lights and have now built a tent around my bed, updated photos coming soon. The main wall in bright orange has a white tree with yellow, white and red flowers all done with chart and crepe paper. The tree starts off on my restroom door which looked rather drab before this entire exercise. To fulfill my insane desires I added three chinese lanterns as well to complete the look. My study table has my favorite rug on it and my cute nightlamp as well as some scented candles from pondicherry, a love meter, my family photo and a colourful pen /brush/ pencil stand. I have added string light under the table as well. A green little carpet with a quaint wooden tepoy stands with a black wicker basket filled with mmmm potpourri! All this in front of a Diwan quite Rajasthani in approach! I have a whole big sit out to myself as well and there is plenty more stuff to do... I'm excited and it will show, up here lol! :)

Homely

Four Women outside their home working on various things... my women in black remind me of walking/talking/living black sculptures...

Green Fields and Women

As I sat on the train from Bangalore to Coimbatore...Visions of green fields filled my senses and then entered my women, harvesting...
